Availability is never cached. Every time on screen is computed from your posted hours, each person's own schedule and the book as it stands, and it is checked again in the instant a booking is written. Two people tapping the same slot cannot both get it.

The Order It Asks In

Most software asks the last question first.

Pick a service. Pick a time. Now find out the person you wanted is not free at it, go back, and guess again. That loop is why a regular gives up and phones the shop, and why the front desk is answering the phone during a cut.

01 Who Your roster, in the order you print it on your own website. Or First Available, which takes whoever is open soonest and spreads the work across the shop rather than piling it on one chair.
02 What Only the services that person actually performs. A barber who does not do color is never offered for it, so the booking that reaches your board is one you can honor.
03 When Only the times that person is genuinely free: posted hours, their own weekly pattern, their lunch break, your closures, and everything already in the book.
04 Who For A name and a mobile number. No account, no password, no email required. Where you ask for a card, it is held and not charged.

What the Book Does

One book. The shop's, not ours.

Everything below is running today. Where something is not built yet, it is not on this list.

Day Board: Every chair, one day, one screen, with a live now-line. Tap an open cell to write in a walk-in or block time out.
Never Double-Booked: Slots are computed fresh and re-checked at the moment of writing. Nothing is cached, so nothing goes stale between two page loads.
First Available: Assigns whoever is open soonest and, on a tie, the lightest book. The shop's own roster order breaks the last tie.
Self-Serve Waitlist: "Nothing works, text me if something opens up." Clients add themselves; a cancellation puts the slot back on the board immediately.
Standing Appointments: Every three weeks, same chair, same time. Materialized ahead so the regulars are already in the book.
Change, Not Cancel: Moving an appointment keeps the slot and the confirmation code. Nobody has to throw a booking away to shift it half an hour.

My Appointments: Clients find what they booked with a phone number and no account. The link is proof; typing a number is not.
Calendar Invites: A real .ics for Apple and Outlook and a Google link, on the confirmation page and in the emailed copy.
Card on File: Optional, per shop. Saved through Stripe and not charged at booking; the digits never touch this application.
Your Own Words: A barbershop's clients pick a Barber, a salon's pick a Stylist, a spa's pick a Therapist. One setting, no code.
Reads by API: The book is the system of record, and it can be read and written over an API. Operator, our AI receptionist, answers the phone against this same book.

No Pricing Yet: There is no plan to pick and no card to enter. What it costs is a conversation, and it will be a real number before it is a page.
Text Messages: Confirmations go out by email today. Texting is waiting on carrier registration, and the app says so on screen where it would otherwise pretend to have sent one.
Who It Fits: A shop where clients ask for someone by name: a barbershop, a salon, a studio with a handful of chairs. If your clients do not care who they get, this is the wrong software.
